std.typecons.Nullable.opCast - multiple declarations

Function Nullable.opCast

Returns true if this has a value, otherwise false.

bool opCast(T)() const;

Allows a Nullable to be used as the condition in an if statement:

if (auto result = functionReturningNullable())
{
    doSomethingWith(result.get);
}

Function Nullable.opCast

Prevents opCast from disabling built-in conversions.

ref T opCast(T, This)()
if (is(This : T) || This.sizeof == T.sizeof);
