Function std.path.stripExtension

Remove extension from path.

auto stripExtension(C)(

if (isSomeChar!C);

Parameters

Returns

slice of path with the extension (if any) stripped off

writeln(stripExtension("file")); // "file"
writeln(stripExtension("file.ext")); // "file"
writeln(stripExtension("file.ext1.ext2")); // "file.ext1"
writeln(stripExtension("file.")); // "file"
writeln(stripExtension(".file")); // ".file"
writeln(stripExtension(".file.ext")); // ".file"
writeln(stripExtension("dir/file.ext")); // "dir/file"
