Posts here on the official D Blog are focused on the D Programming Language, the people who use it, and the projects they create. Sometimes, articles and interviews contain information on language features outside of their scope, or on tangentially related topics such as third-party C libraries or personal histories. Though often interesting to read, such content is beyond the scope of the blog. In order to keep the posts focused and on point, they often have to be trimmed.
It’s a shame to leave interesting material on the cutting-room floor. dblog-ext.info was created to ensure that such content is available for those who care to read it. As time goes by, the available material will grow. If you’re ever reading a post on the D Blog and see a link to extended content, it will take you there. Go ahead and click it!
